Advisor Mönsterås

It all starts in the forest – and it keeps starting over and over again. Södra Skog works with purchasing renewable forest raw materials from our 50,000 members and delivering them to Södras various industries. We work closely with our members in their forestry, sharing their challenges and helping them create both increased climate benefits and higher profitability. Our work also includes the development of digital support and new forestry services.

What you will work with at Södra

Part of Södra's mission is to create a market for members' timber raw materials at competitive prices and to offer competent advice and services. As an Advisor, you are the member's most important contact. With knowledge and commitment, you work together with the member to create a profitable, long-term, and sustainable forestry.

In your role as an Advisor, you own the dialogue with Södra's members and are responsible, together with the member team, for ensuring a seamless member experience. Here, your expertise through advice related to forestry and forest management becomes an important part of the relationships you build with both existing and new members within Södra. Tasks such as purchasing raw materials, outreach activities, and selling services are also part of the assignment.

You will be part of a member team that, in addition to the advisory role, consists of advisory coordinators, production leaders, forest care leaders, and transport leaders. You will also work closely with other specialist roles within Södra Skog.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, based at our Mönsterås office. The work area spans Mönsterås and Kalmar municipalities, and some remote work can be done.

Your experience

To succeed in the role of advisor, we see that you have forestry competence gained through forestry university education or equivalent work experience. You have a genuine interest in forestry that drives you to work with these issues daily. You work proactively and pay attention to details while not losing sight of the big picture.

As a person, you are social, trustworthy, and enjoy creating and maintaining good relationships, motivated by making deals. You are structured, driven, and have the ability to work independently. As forestry becomes increasingly digital, it is important that you are comfortable and curious about new technology and how digital development can assist you in your dialogue with the member. Furthermore, you enjoy having an active job where you can move around a lot in the terrain.

In addition, we see that you have:

- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms

- A valid driver's license (B)

This is what it's like to work at Södra

At Södra, you have the opportunity to develop at work while contributing to sustainable forestry that creates value for people and the environment. We place great value on your personal engagement and care about your well-being. For your security, we have collective agreements and good conditions, as well as several benefits that you can enjoy both at work and in your free time.

What do you think, could this be something for you? Then you know what to do. We really look forward to hearing from you!

Join us in building a sustainable society

Södra is one of the largest forestry companies in the country and is jointly owned by over 50,000 family-owned forests in southern Sweden. In addition to developing forestry, we strive to always use forest raw materials in the most efficient and climate-smart way. Pulp, timber, textile mass, and bioproducts are just a few examples. By working together, we have the strength, commitment, and courage needed to build a sustainable society. This is done with our feet on the ground, our ears to the world, and our eyes looking forward.
